Golfer’s paradise

Market Shopping
If you like city shopping there is some of the most amazing and largest shopping centre’s and markets you might ever see 2 hours away in Bangkok at prices you won’t believe. You can eat foods from around the world 82 floors up looking down on the city of Bangkok from Thailand tallest Building The Baiyoke Sky Hotel and then go higher to the viewing platform amazing suite to see, or you can eat at the side of the road from one local traders the choice is endless.

Fishing
In Cha-am we have a fishing lake located on the out side of the town it’s a 5 minute drive to beautiful tranquil location, the lake is very well stock with a variety of fish every thing is there for you to have a relaxing days fishing, rod hire a small shop for soft drinks and a restaurant that will cook one or two of your catch for your lunch and prepare the rest of your catch for you to take away with you.
Sea Fishing
It is possible to arrange fishing trips yourself directly with local fishermen who’ll take you out on their boats for a few hours. Prices, as always, are negotiable, but as a general rule of thumb you can expect to pay 500 baht per person for a group of 6. Tackle, bait and light refreshments will normally be included in the price. A trip will last around 5-6 hours, depending on tides. This can be a fun way to organise your day, although for trips further out to sea, it is probably better to use the services of a recognised boat operator

Horse Riding
To relax and do very little
There is a great relaxed atmosphere in Cha-am no pressure to do anything you don’t want to do if you would like to sit by the pool or sit on the white sand at the beautiful beach of Cha-am and just soak up the hot sun just do it. And if you want to jump on a jet ski which is available to hire or even have a banana ride to cool off and then dip into warm sea. If you want to hire a 1 to 4 seater peddle bike or a moped the choice is yours or just walk along the sea front shopping and picking out where and what you would like to eat next, and if you don’t like Thai food there is English, German, Norwegian and a wide range and dishes available. And if you just like a small amount of sight seeing just a 20 minute drive to the town of Hua-Hin which is the next big resort along the south of Thailand there is a lot of shops and markets where you can buy a whole range of things as well as local attractions to see.
